Overview
Makae is a local-first singing practice app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you import songs, record microphone-only practice takes, save notes, create local Focus Maps, use coin purchases, and exchange metadata-only friend playlist invitations.
Information You Provide
The app may store selected audio-file metadata, sandbox copies of files you choose, microphone-only recordings, practice notes, playlists, Focus Maps, invitation files, verification codes, local consent state, and local coin ledger data on your device.
Local Processing
Imported audio, recordings, playlists, notes, Focus Maps, invitation imports, and codes are processed on device. The app does not provide cloud sync, public profiles, remote friend lookup, messaging, or a public feed.
Purchases
If you buy consumable coins through Apple in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. The app stores local purchase and coin ledger records needed to credit verified purchases and prevent duplicate credits.
Sharing
Friend invitations are shared only when you choose to export a metadata-only invitation file and separately share a verification code. Audio, recordings, notes, Focus Maps, account credentials, and device identifiers are not included in the invitation payload.
Analytics
If no formal analytics configuration is supplied, analytics is absent and uninitialized. If analytics is formally configured later, the app will request optional consent before initializing it and will provide a withdrawal control without feature loss.
Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete items or use Delete Account. Delete Account is intended to clear local practice data, invitation data, coin balance, and applicable local settings from the app.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided information through the app, contact us.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available through the configured Privacy Policy link.
